Celebrate the Arts with Santa Monica this 4th of July! We’re kicking things off with 200 FREE kids’ goody bags, including an art kit, coloring sheet, and some Santa Monica-themed treats. Stop by our Main Street Visitor Information Center, located at 2427 Main Street, open 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. seven days a week, to grab your bag and get the creativity flowing. Don’t forget to return your completed masterpiece to be displayed in the Visitor Center storefront.

Free 4th of July Events

Head to Santa Monica Pier and Pacific Park, July 3rd to July 7th, from dusk to 12:30am to see the Pacific Wheel’s special red, white, and blue display, in celebration of Independence Day.

Celebrate with a bang this year with the Celebrate America Celebration at Santa Monica College. Friends, food, fun and a dazzling fireworks show will all be taking place at Corsair Field starting at 5pm on Saturday, June 29, so don’t miss out.

Join Santa Monica locals and visitors in the all-ages Annual Fourth of July Parade, taking place Tuesday, July 4th starting at 9:30am. Running for 16 years, this parade is one that truly shows the red, white and blue spirit.

Stop by the Ocean View Hotel to enjoy the Fourth of July Star Spangled Soirée, featuring professional face painting, sounds by Dani Rox DJ, and more. The festivities will take place on the front patio from 3-5pm on July 4th.
