Singer/songwriter Tracy Newman has been a staple in the Los Angeles folk music scene for a number of years. She has released three adult albums and has just launched her new children music company, Run Along Home. The latter includes two children CDs along with her latest release, Sing With Me.
The Tongue in Creek Band is a comedy group that does for classic bluegrass and country what Weird Al Yankovic does for pop music. Combined with hot picking and fine singing, Tongue in Creek Band is quality musicianship from folks who definitely know the meaning of tongue in cheek. Tongue in Creek Band includes: Bill Birrell (aka Weird Willy) Vocals and mandolin; Fred Sokolow (aka Grateful Fred) Vocals, guitar, banjo, dobro, auto harp; Alexander Martin (aka Rocket Man) Vocals and violin; Lynn Sokolow (aka Sugar Beat) Upright Bass.
