View the Camera Obscura with rose-colored glasses! Projected through a tinted filter, rosy visions of reality are forecast by the apparatus and illuminated in an opti-mystic exhibition. Works of photography and sculpture will be on view. Presented concurrently with Laboratory of Synchronous Planes, an experimental augmented reality workshop with Selwa Sweidan.
Laura Darlington’s work explores the fantastical, the paradoxical, and the nature of illusion. She seeks escape routes via video, photography, collage, painting, sculpture, and sound. Born and raised in Santa Monica, she studied at Smith College and Otis College of Art & Design, and has exhibited and performed internationally.
