Continuing the Future Sounds of Jazz series curated by Stanley Clarke, BroadStage presents Marlon Martinez and the Marlonius Jazz Orchestra, featuring Olivia Kuper Harris.
Since its 2016 inception, Marlonius Jazz Orchestra has captivated audiences in Greater Los Angeles, solidifying its place in the LA jazz scene after opening for Stanley Clarke and Hiromi in the 2023/24 Season. Led by bassist Marlon Martinez, the orchestra blends new compositions with the music of jazz legend Billy Strayhorn, revitalizing classics associated with Duke Ellington and exploring forgotten gems. Olivia Kuper Harris adds her soulful voice and dynamic presence to this exciting program.
