Learn how to make soap from scratch! The wonderful, natural soaps you see at specialty stores and farmer’s markets, are really not that hard to make. We will use natural plant based oils and butter oils … to make beautiful, creamy lathering soaps that incorporate essential oils and botanicals and feel good on your skin. Soaping is a really fun craft to learn that can easily become your next passion. We will go over the process, get familiar with the equipment needed, learn about different oils, safety with working with lye (sodium hydroxide) and how to create and make a formula, working with colorant, fragrance and essential oils.
