Based on Louisa May Alcott’s beloved 1869 novel, “Little Women” follows the saga of the March sisters—Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy—as they grow up in Civil War America. Jo is trying to sell her stories but publishers are not interested. Her friend, Professor Bhaer, urges her to write more from her heart. Taking his advice, Jo weaves the story of her and her sisters and their experiences into her work. The show, which brought Sutton Foster her second Tony nomination, features a stunning score by Grammy winner Jason Howland. Recommended for ages ten and up.
