Kiki Yeung’s Second Chances for Grace

It’s Kiki Yeung’s award-winning solo show – but can it really be called a solo show when she deftly and hilariously portrays eighteen different characters? Follow Kiki on a heroic coming-of-age story as a Chinese girl from Hong Kong desperately seeks her identity in the world, defying her Tiger Mom and overcoming two auto-immune diseases to chase the new American dream of becoming an actress. Powerful drama infused with comedy, multimedia, song and dance, you’ll be inspired as she offers real-talk – and no small amount of “Chinglish” – addressing determination, healing and dream-chasing. Second Chances for Grace is directed by DeAnna Driscoll, with special opening act by side-splitting comedian Isak Allen.
Admission includes post-show reception with Ms. Yeung. Shows one night only to support the Santa Monica Playhouse Benefit Campaign.
