The weather is finally starting to warm up and the tent is off the patio, so there’s no better way for Esters Wine Shop & Bar to celebrate than with a whole lineup of talented chefs for the next Guest Chef Burger Night Series. Every month since September 2017, “the little kitchen that could” has welcomed a slew of celebrated, local talent to make their favorite burger for just one night. The summer iteration is the last of 2019 as the popular series takes a little break for the fall and winter holidays, but it will kick off again in Winter 2020.
Guest Chef Burger Nights begin at 6:00 p.m., until burgers sell out, so grab a seat early during 4-6 p.m. Happy Hour. All burgers come with a side and are priced at $18, with an optional beer or wine pairing. Esters is walk-in only, so reservations are not taken.
Brittany Cassidy will be coming hot off the heels of the restaurant group’s newest debut – Birdie G’s. She’s been working alongside Jeremy Fox since March 2013, when she joined the Rustic Canyon team as a line cook. She was promoted three times during her tenure, earned Zagat’s “30 Under 30,” and cooked at the James Beard House twice. She’s now leading the culinary team as Chef de Cuisine at Birdie G’s, so the Esters crew is delighted she’s popping in for a night to cook up a Patty Melt with toasted sourdough, caramelized onions, onion mayonnaise, pickled banana peppers, fresh tomato and melted cheese.
