Elephant Parade Exhibit

In celebration of World Elephant Day on August 12, Downtown Santa Monica, Inc. and the Santa Monica Art Museum, in collaboration with the worldwide exhibition Elephant Parade^®, are pleased to unveil an exhibit featuring a selection of handcrafted five-foot-tall elephant sculptures from the creative minds of entertainment icons including Katy Perry, Tiésto, Lily Tomlin, Khloé Kardashian, Cesar Millan and Oliver Benjamin. The museum will host an opening event on World Elephant Day on Saturday, August 12th from 10 am – 3 pm. Members of the press are invited between noon – 2 pm. As part of opening day, six elephant sculptures will also be placed outside of the museum on the Promenade and free for public viewing. The Elephant Parade exhibit will remain on view at the museum through Friday, September 22.
